Ada Elmgart owns the company and is a freelance Photographer "I was inspired by two things when choosing the name of the company, then living in Dubai, UAE. It was there I first time saw the flower Desert Rose. Desert Roses blossom even though they grow in the desert with lots of sand, strong sun and hardly any water. Moreover I love the song "Desert Rose" by Sting on the album "A Brand New Day".
